RCA VICTOR U-9 78rpm Radio/Phono (1939) $75

Made in 1939, this RCA-Victor radio/phono has an attractive cabinet and a very distinctive tonearm, which was also used, I believe, in some Zenith models of similar vintage. A sticker in the inside of the cabinet testified that this particular player was overhauled by Jim Hester of Santa Monica, CA in April of 1951. Unfortunately, by the time I had assumed ownership, some seventy years later, his 30-day guarantee had expired.
