45 Player
RCA’s ubiquitous 45rpm player, was found in most American homes in the 1950s. This model was a player only and had to be plugged into a radio or amplifier. A close look at the tonearm reveals the fact that a new ceramic cartridge has replaced the old crystal cart, The basic mechanical part of this unit was later placed into a variety of cabinets, including ones with amplifiers and speakers.
