A very early Columbia LP player - 33 and 1/3 rpm only. The paper tag underneath the player says 'Columbia LP Record Player' ... and model number 103 A has been stamped on the masonite base. It is a turntable only, requiring to be plugged into a radio or an amplifier. To start the platter one pushes the tonearm back, which switches the platter on. I can find no information on the internet on this model - a search on Radio Museum turned up nothing. I surmise it came after the bakelite Columbia / Philco Model 101 seen elsewhere on 78crazy.com
